With the resent rains the garden has exploded into a mass of green. The pak choy in bed 1 is almost ready to harvest, the beans are getting bigger and the cherry tomato is setting fruit and flowering.
The pick and come again lettuce is finally looking like lettuce
And the rainbow chard is bolting to seed. This red one is the only one the chickens won’t eat. It also makes in interesting red quiche!
And the spud bed has erupted into a mass of lovely green leaves. Another week or so and I will be starting to hill the soil up around them.
And finally in bed 3 the corn seeds I planted recently are germinating. Can you see them? They are tiny!
I really can’t wait to eat some of these!
