  What are we growing at Little Farm?

Spring/ Summer 2009

With each season comes a new series of planting.  Your climate will dictate what you can grow.  Little Farm is situated in Toowoomba Q.  We have frosty winters and hot dry summers.  Our climate falls between temperate and dry arid.  Here is a list of what is growing for the current season. 

  • Basil – green
  • Beans – dwarf Hawksbury Wonder, stringless and green
  • Beetroot – Bulls Blood
  • Bok Choy
  • Capsicum – bell variety
  • Chillis
  • Carrots
  • Cucumber – Green Prolific & Crystal Apple
  • Eggplants – black beauty
    • Lettuce - mignonettes this year grown to be picked once
  • Onions – white
  • Pak Choy
  • Potatoes – missed ones from last years harvest
  • Radish
  • Shallots (bulb type)
  • Spring Onions
  • Squash – green
  • Sunflowers
  • Tomatoes – Tiny tim, Roma
  • Zuchini – Black Beauty
